Below are the official rules & guidelines of TNCA airport. Before controlling at TNCA please read carefully. Official frequency list for TNCA (IVAO): -TNCA_TWR 120.90 -TNCA_GND 121.60 Since we simulate real TNCA operations there are a couple of things you should keep in mind: -TNCA_APP position should never be used ! -TNCA_GND acts as Apron only thus TNCA_GND may only approve pushback from gate, taxi to gate after landing etc. Startup, Clearance and Taxi to runway remain under control of TNCA_TWR unless previously coordinated with the TWR for you (GND) to handle one or more of those previously mentioned instructions. Note: Tower may refuse such request without statements of reasons. -Despite other IVAO rules, TNCA_GND shall not contact aircrafts on approach. All departing traffics are to be switched to UNICOM frequency 122.80 when airborne. While you connect as TNCA_GND, you are officially TNCA_APRON thus pilots may refuse to contact you (in the air) or continue on your frequency when ready for taxi. You are allowed though to kindly ask pilots if they wish to remain under your control but they may refuse such requests without statements of reasons. -Aircrafts should call 5 minutes prior to startup so that GND, TWR and CTR can coordinate. Any aircraft calling GND or TWR more then 5 min before ready for SU should be instructed to call again 5 min. prior. -Always have the latest charts at hand when controlling. These can be found on our mainpage. -To avoid confusion we recommend staffing TWR position first, then GND. Whichever controller that connects last must inform the other area related ATC that he or she is online and coordinate traffic handover as quickly as possible. -For the lastest NOTAM please browse our main page and apply any that may in in effect. Facility Rating Assignment (F.R.A.): Click here for Aruba's TNCA F.R.A. Note: During events, expect C1 rating for TWR and S3 for GND.
